For the eighth consecutive year, the REB Dealmakers ranking celebrates top-performing agents who have excelled in their local areas and gone above and beyond for their customers.
The REB Dealmakers 2024 ranking has been measured through several key metrics including number of deals, year-on-year growth and consistency of performance.
The ranking also highlights the exceptional talent and dedication advancing Australia’s real estate industry.

The real estate industry has faced significant challenges throughout 2024 including rising interest rates, tight markets and growing mortgage stress, with nearly 30 per cent of Australian mortgage holders at risk.
Despite operating in these difficult conditions, the dedication of this year’s dealmakers resulted in a rise in average growth and an increase in the number of deals settled in FY24.
The growth on average across the ranking’s various categories highlights the immense talent of the 50 dealmakers who ranked in FY24.
The dealmakers who secured a place in the ranking have set a new benchmark for consistency for other residential agents to emulate going forward.
Average total number of deals — TOP 50
The top 50 dealmakers achieved a significant increase, rising to 130.6 from 84.4 in FY23. The top 10 also recorded growth, climbing from 105.6 in FY23 to 113.3 this year.

Average growth this year rose to 36.1, up from 21.8 last year.

The average number of deals per month for the top 50 increased from 7.0 in FY23 to 10.9 in FY24, while the top 10 also experienced a rise, from 8.8 in FY23 to 9.4 in FY24.
TOP 50 AVERAGE CONSISTENCY SCORE
There was a slight decrease in the average consistency score among the top 50 dealmakers, dropping from 97.3 in FY23 to 96.8 in FY24.
TOP 10 AVERAGE CONSISTENCY SCORE
The reverse is true for the top 10 dealmakers, which saw a minimal increase in average consistency score, from 97.6 to 97.7.

How were the states represented?
Victoria emerged as the top-performing state in the Top 50 Dealmakers 2024 ranking with 18 representatives, having previously ranked second in 2023. Victorian agents won the first two positions in the ranking, with four agents represented in the top 10 dealmakers.
NSW ranked second after securing 14 representatives, up from eight in FY23. Queensland saw an increase in representatives with nine dealmakers securing a rank, up from two in FY23.
Meanwhile, Western Australia fell from the top position last year down to fourth position in FY24. The mining state secured seven representatives this year, down significantly from 21 in FY23.
Tasmania and South Australia both had one ranked dealmaker each in 2024.
