One franchise group has turned its attention to the luxury market after the opening of a new office in Sydney’s prestigious Mosman.

Business owner of the new Harcourts, Sandie Dunne, has been in the real estate industry for 26 years and was inspired by the network's international connections.

“The group is going places at a fast rate and they offer a refreshing team attitude built upon strong values,” Ms Dunne said.

She also claimed the group is expecting a turnaround in the poor performance of the luxury market in the near future.

“In terms of the property market, the top end markets are starting to come out of the doom and gloom, with many more properties now trading than we were seeing at the beginning of the year.

“Harcourts is becoming a much more dominant brand and I am expecting to see continued growth in the luxury Sydney market for the group.”

Ms Dunne is confident of the long-term success of her business now that she is part of the Harcourts group.

“Buyers and sellers seem more confident and ready to make decisions. I believe we have reached a turning point and can look forward to a more active market in 2013.”
