A real estate trainer and coach has raised over $20,000 for the Cancer Council after completing the Sydney Tough Mudder in April.
Josh Phegan joined over 30,000 participants in the 21-kilometre course that featured 27 obstacles including barbed wire, electric shocks, mud baths and monkey bars.
The Sydney-based coach was motivated by friends and family who had battled with cancer.
“I am in awe of those people who have the courage to keep fighting each day and I wanted to show them that we all want them to win,” he said.
Mr Phegan’s efforts generated a large response from agents throughout Australia and New Zealand, who helped him raise almost $10,000 in the first 24 hours.
