The network is expanding its presence on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast with the launch of RE/MAX Sunshine, based out of Maroochydore.
The new office, scheduled to open later this month, will be led by owners Kyle Mian and Gus Da Silva, and is the latest office to join RE/MAX’s growing Sunshine Coast footprint alongside three other network offices.
Both Mian and Da Silva highlighted the importance of supporting and representing clients throughout the transaction process as key to their business. Mian joins RE/MAX having also been a buyer’s agent.
“We’re excited to be taking this next step into business ownership with the opening of RE/MAX Sunshine,” Da Silva said.
“It’s been a goal of ours for some time and we’re looking forward to furthering connections within the region and offering our services and expertise in selling, purchasing and investing.”
The pair decided to join the RE/MAX brand in 2024, crediting the network’s international success.
“We are both experienced business owners and property investors, however our interest and experience in real estate has been a driver for us to move forward into business ownership,” Mian explained.
“We appreciate the global presence of RE/MAX and the opportunities that present us as real estate agents and business owners, and we are looking forward to connecting with the network on both a regional and international level.”
The pair have been close for over a decade bonding over their Brazilian heritage, having held long-term aspirations to enter real estate.
“Our plans are to continue to evolve and grow with our focus set wholly on establishing a business that will serve us, our team, our families and the community for years to come,” Mian said.
RE/MAX managing director, Joel Davoren, welcomed the move, noting the network’s ambition for growth on the Sunshine Coast.
“RE/MAX Sunshine will provide a strategic, energised business to the growing Sunshine Coast region, and we’re happy to welcome Kyle and Gus to the network to lead that growth expanding the presence of RE/MAX throughout the region,” said Davoren.
“Kyle and Gus bring an energy to the way in which they conduct business, and combined with their different backgrounds, experience as business owners and clear goals for the future, we’re excited to seeing the opportunities ahead for them under the RE/MAX banner.”
