RE/MAX has announced it is expanding its operations into Maryborough, Queensland, with real estate agent Rachel Ellis starting her own agency.

Prior to launching her agency, Ms Ellis had four years’ experience with RE/MAX, starting as a property manager with the company in 2013.

She went on to work in various roles in sales and marketing, before striking out on her own.

“Maryborough offers something special,” she said. “The city still has its heritage but is growing, changing… moving forward, and I want to be part of it, building a team that shares my values, my passion for real estate and my commitment to this community.”

Ms Ellis highlighted that she is excited about the challenge of opening her own agency which she hopes will benefit customers in the Maryborough region.

“Our focus will be on the value we give our customers and our goal is to provide the ultimate real estate experience,” she said.

Ms Ellis purchased independent agency REM in Gympie Rd, Tinana, and has completely refurbished the site.

“We are revamping the premises to create a vibrant RE/MAX office that will enrich our customers’ real estate experience,” Ms Ellis said.

RE/MAX Australia managing director Joel Davoren welcomed Ms Ellis as a RE/MAX broker-owner.

“Opening RE/MAX Reach presented an exciting business opportunity for Rachel and for our network, and RE/MAX is fortunate to welcome her return,” Mr Davoren said.

“Rachel is a talented sales agent with strong leadership qualities and business acumen who will build a productive team that is clearly focused on its customers.”
