Cushman & Wakefield has revealed a new Western Australia-based associate director will be joining the group.

Craig Townsend will be joining the firm in the Western Australia project and development services team.

Under the title of associate director – client services, project and development services, Mr Townsend “will be instrumental in growing our team to better service our commercial, retail, hospitality and government clients in WA and across Australia”, according to Maria Russo-Fama, Cushman & Wakefield director – client services, Australia and New Zealand, project and development services.

A statement announcing Mr Townsend’s appointment noted the new associate director as “a dynamic and motivated individual with a strong passion for business development and relationship management”.

The firm has also lauded his “broad network of clients and proven track record in project management, account management, and sales plan implementation”.

The latest news follows a slew of appointments at the global real estate services firm.

Last month, the West Australian office recruited a joint head of capital markets, while across the border in South Australia, the team welcomed a new director and head of office leasing.

Prior to that, Cushman & Wakefield South Australia welcomed Guy Bennett into the role of managing director, as well as the state’s capital markets team lead.

It’s been a busy period for the group, which has also recently revealed a brand-new campaign across the 60 countries in which it operates.
