It’s “the right time” for the group to make its foray into the harbour city market, according to Agency HQ chief executive Mark Morrison.
Exclusively confirming the Sydney commercial market expansion plans with REB, Mr Morrison said the announcement comes off the back of a “spectacular year”.
With the network already reporting itself as on track to reach its target for members by 2023, the CEO highlighted that the plans would see Agency HQ Commercial enter not just Sydney but other major cities around NSW as well as Queensland.
The latest news from the group coincides with the confirmation of a new commercial sales office opening in Coopers Plains in February next year.
According to Mr Morrison, “it’s the right time for us to be doing this in the commercial space.”
He has credited the recent success of the business “to having an experienced leadership team who have been instrumental in creating a strong foundation for future expansion”.
“They have proven themselves capable of leading their teams with confidence and have created an environment where each individual feels valued and supported,” he shared.
“This level of support has allowed their employees to reach their full potential while helping achieve amazing results for clients throughout the region.”
Illustrative of this success is the recent off-market purchase through Agency HQ Commercial Queensland state director Jack Barrett.
Mr Morrison has noted how Mr Barrett brokered the off-market purchase of sites in the inner-south Brisbane suburb of Willawong.
The new owners of the land are now lodging a planning application to develop a $90 million, nine-building industrial and logistics park.
