A new associate has boosted the team’s Melbourne presence.
Bringing with him a background across the financial services and investment sector, Ben Ryan is taking on the associate – capital advisory role at the global commercial real estate firm.
It’s the latest in a string of appointments at the global firm.
Most recently, they added a new director in the Gold Coast office, while they had previously elevated an employee to the senior analyst role in the capital markets team over in Western Australia.
Having previously worked at the likes of MaxCap Group and EY, Cushman & Wakefield said their newest associate in Mr Ryan had demonstrated “exceptional proficiency in investment management, portfolio construction, strategy development and transaction support”.
According to a statement announcing his arrival, Mr Ryan will hold responsibility for leveraging his expertise to provide strategic financial advice, investment analysis and transaction support to clients.
Cushman & Wakefield continued by stating that “his solid understanding of the financial services and investment landscape will enable him to develop tailored strategies that align with clients’ goals and maximise their real estate investments”.
National senior director of capital advisory at Cushman & Wakefield, Trevor Maitland, said Mr Ryan’s alignment with the group is an exciting addition for the team.
“His proven track record of success and well-rounded skill set will be an asset to our firm as we continue to provide exceptional capital advisory services to our clients,” Mr Maitland commented.
Other recent appointments at the company include the nabbing of a team from JLL, which enabled Cushman & Wakefield to amp up its Western Australian industrial operation capabilities.
The company has also appointed two leaders in the sustainability space – a head of sustainability and ESG across Asia Pacific, and a global head of sustainability thought leadership.
