A global proptech giant has conducted a “critical” rethink of property management functions and workflows.
MRI Software has unveiled its all-new Property Management X™ (PMX) – a redesign of its own property management technology for “improved useability, efficiency and intelligence”.
MRI reported that with more than three in four commercial real estate C-suite and director-level industry professionals calling automation an “urgent” priority across all aspects of their business, the new offering comes at “a critical time” for the industry.
PMX includes a mobile app as well as AI-enabled capabilities, alongside the MRI Agora Insights platform.
All in all, there are six key elements of the new-look technology, incorporating MRI Agora Insights, Ask Agora, a PMX Studio Suite toolkit, a “reimagined” user experience, more robust and scaleable back-end architecture, and the PMX On the Go mobile app.
According to MRI Asia Pacific vice president of product development, Mark Cohen, the enhancements “are not just an evolution, but a revolution in the way you’ll think about, manage and imagine the future of your portfolios and businesses”.
“Imagine MRI’s full suite as a cityscape, where PMX stands as our tallest skyscraper, and the MRI Agora platform operates as the foundational infrastructure connecting the ecosystem.”
“With next-gen PMX, we’re renovating the building – but we’re also redesigning a new skyline with essential utilities to support neighbouring proptech communities as well,” he continued.
One client already using the technology is Cygnet West CFO, Denis Leane, who said his team “greatly appreciates the ability to easily retrieve information while inspecting sites and engaging with tenants”, calling the ability to check debtor balances on the move “very beneficial”.
It’s those kinds of benefits that MRI Software’s Asia Pacific senior vice president and executive managing director, David Bowie, said the business is listening to – and innovating in response to.
“We’re committed to reshaping not only our products, but industry standards,” he stated.
“If it matters to our clients, it matters to us – so tapping the power of an open and hyper-connected technology platform to advance our clients’ profitability and efficiency, putting innovation like generative AI and digital transformation to work, is always front of mind as we create the future of proptech for them and the communities they create,” he concluded.
