The firm commented that the high-level appointment solidified the leadership team of its new division.
David McDougall will join Cushman & Wakefield as a partner of Advisory+ Australia and New Zealand, the commercial real estate giant’s recently established team that provides consulting on complex built environment projects.
With more than 18 years of experience in the real estate advisory realm, McDougall brings experience in providing strategy and transaction advisory services to private and public sector clients across a range of asset classes.
McDougall has particular experience working across the Australian and UK commercial sectors, having spent a stint working in London before focusing on the Australian market 10 years ago.
Cushman & Wakefield cited his reputation for providing counsel to corporates and large-scale occupiers as recommending him for the pivotal role in this growing team.
In welcoming McDougall to the leadership fold, the firm’s principal and partner for Advisory+, Ross Hamilton, said he’s “confident that David’s leadership will enhance our capabilities and reinforce our commitment to delivering unparalleled value to our clients”.
“David’s appointment marks a significant milestone for our Advisory+ division. His proven track record of delivering impactful solutions and driving business growth aligns seamlessly with our strategic objectives,” Hamilton added.
On his part, McDougall said that “Cushman & Wakefield’s robust presence and esteemed reputation in APAC, coupled with its diverse and high-profile client base, were significant factors in my decision to join the team”.
“I look forward to leveraging these strengths to drive impactful change and deliver superior results for our clients. It’s an exciting time in the real estate industry, and I’m eager to contribute to the continued success and growth of Cushman & Wakefield in this dynamic market,” he commented.
