The firm’s project and development services team has a new national director of program management.
Having spent four years at Cushman & Wakefield, Michael Digweed has been promoted into the role.
He brings with him more than two decades of industry experience across manufacturing and logistics.
Digweed himself said he was “honoured to take on this new challenge and lead such a talented team”.
“My goal is to strategically position our team for long-term growth and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients,” he remarked.
As an engineer with an MBA, Cushman & Wakefield highlighted that Digweed has served as assistant director of operations for the national program services team, “where he has consistently demonstrated his strategic acumen and positive leadership”.
In his new role, he is set to lead the team “through a critical period as they navigate the rebidding process for the Defence NPS Contract”, which Cushman & Wakefield said was a significant endeavour as the business aimed for another 10-year contract to commence mid-2025.
Acknowledging the coming months as “critical” in the rebidding process, Digweed said he was “confident that together, we will achieve great success”.
Touting his proven track record in managing complex supply chain operations, Mitch Wilson, the head of project and development services at Cushman & Wakefield Australia and New Zealand, said Digweed’s promotion “is a testament to his dedication, expertise and strategic vision”.
“His ability to navigate complex challenges and lead with a positive, forward-thinking approach makes him the ideal leader for our NPS team during this pivotal time,” he continued.
“We are confident that Michael will continue to excel and drive our team’s success.”
