The network has strengthened its Western Sydney investment sales team with the appointment of two commercial real estate veterans.

Knight Frank announced that Jeff Moxham will lead the team as partner and head of investment sales in Western Sydney, while George Tisseverasinghe has joined as a sales executive in investment sales.

Knight Frank said Moxham brings 26 years of experience in the commercial real estate sector, insights from running his own company, Moxham Commercial, and from holding previous senior roles at Ray White and Jones Lang LaSalle.

Joining him is Tisseverasinghe who worked alongside Moxham for the last year, bringing over 10 years of experience in property development, working across funding, acquisitions and development management.

The two appointments follow the recent relocation of Knight Frank Western Sydney’s office, and the firm’s desire to continue growing its team and presence in the area.

Moxham said the growth of Knight Frank’s Western Sydney investment sales team has coincided with the anticipated recovery of the commercial property market in 2025.

He noted that a previous report by the firm, Knight Frank’s Australian Horizon 2025, revealed that core assets in Sydney are anticipated to “lead the way as the market returns to growth this year”.

“As this recovery comes to fruition and activity picks up, our strong team will be placed to advise and service our clients in Western Sydney, particularly using our expertise in the various zoning changes underway in the area,” Moxham said.

To capitalise on these market conditions further, Moxham said he looks forward to leading the Western Sydney investment sales team’s growth as the region expands.

Knight Frank CEO, James Patterson, said Western Sydney is expected to grow further.

“Western Sydney continues to go from strength to strength, with significant investment and infrastructure developments, including the upcoming Western Sydney International Airport, which will increase accessibility and the region’s growth potential,” he said.

Patterson noted that Moxham’s appointment has been anticipated, as he brings not only his experience to the team but also a family history with the area.

“We have built a team in our Western Sydney office with significant experience in property, as well as
the local area, with Jeff’s family having a history in the area dating back to the mid-1800s,” Patterson noted

Moxham said his passion for Western Sydney and family history in the area will drive his new role.

“I’m passionate about Parramatta, having a long history in the area as my grandfather started our
family real estate agency here nearly 70 years ago now, while my great great uncle was the mayor of
the city in 1897,” he said.

Knight Frank’s head of Western Sydney, Phill Rockliff, who was appointed late last year, welcomed Moxham and Tisseverasinghe, and shared his plans to “continue expanding our local team in the thriving Western Sydney region”.
