The chief point of difference at Queensland boutique network Coronis is that it is not a franchised operation, but it is still delivering on its serious growth ambitions.
“Coronis isn’t franchised, our 27 offices across Brisbane, Toowoomba, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast are managed by the Coronis family,” said managing director Andrew Coronis.
“Several long-term employees have bought shares in the company over the years, including sales director Craig Gillies, PM director Jodi Ford, CFO Jillian Hanlon and COO Karuna Dimelow.”
Mr Coronis said that another unique feature of the group lies in its training philosophy.
“Therefore, another point of difference is that all of our team receives the same training, guaranteeing our level of customer satisfaction across each office,” the MD said.
“We monitor this through several touchpoints in our client’s journeys resulting in a net promoter score.”
Mr Coronis said that when he took over his father’s business in 2002, his goal was to build a network of 50 offices without franchising.
However, over the years, the vision changed to “making buying, renting and selling easy” — which is how the Coronis end-to-end service came to life.
“Today, our team of 300-plus property professionals collaboratively work together offering our clients sales, property management, conveyancing, home loans, financial planning and building and pest inspections under the same roof.”
Mr Coronis said that the niche group is “very focused” on implementing its vision of 40 offices by 2020.
“We have strategically mapped out suburbs in South East Queensland that show great potential where we are yet to open an office.
“The leadership team have committed to this target and we are actively growing our team to bring our vision to life.”
He also said that Coronis is “heavily invested” in its digital strategy to enhance the customer experience.
“We have already implemented key tactics such as live chat on coronis.com.au, Diakrit photography and email software to talk to our users at the right moment of their buying, selling or renting process.
“These three things alone have added great value to our business and tripled the amount of leads into the business in addition to doubling our web traffic.”
