It’s been just six months since one Sunshine Coast agent launched his first real estate agency, but now he’s gone and done it again.

Alex Garden has expanded his Ray White Beerwah business to now encompass nearby Mooloolah Valley, having wanted to get a foot in the lifestyle locale for years.

“I have been keen to put my stamp on the town for years,” Mr Garden said, “and then there was an opportunity, so I grabbed it with two hands and didn’t think twice.”

According to a statement from Ray White, Mooloolah Valley is an area popular with families, first home buyers and downsizers — close to both Brisbane and the beach.

Mr Garden is supported at Ray White Beerwah by Tracy Garden, part-owner of the new franchise and director of property management.

Despite COVID-19 impacting Mr Garden’s new Beerwah business very early on, the agent said that his team has gone “from strength to strength”.

“The hinterland is the place where people want to be, to live and raise their families. The hinterland not only has the famous Glass House Mountains but is only a short drive to the gorgeous Sunshine Coast beaches.”

Being “busier than ever — which is a good thing”, Mr Garden is already expanding his team, having recruited two new sales associates and a sales agent in the last few months.

Alongside his partner Hailey, Mr Garden has indicated there are big plans afoot for Ray White Beerwah | Mooloolah Valley’s second office.

The quick expansion underfoot by the Sunshine Coast agent has thrilled Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew, who considers Mr Garden as “a man on a mission”.

“From a rising star rookie to a multi-office business owner in less than five years is quite an achievement,” he said, stating that the network is right behind him, with the team willing to support him “every step of the way”.

Acknowledging that “just like the White family, we are a family-owned business, too”, Mr Garden said his Toowoomba roots play an important role for his business.

“Around here, old-school manners matter,” he commented.

“My team and I have a lot of local knowledge and we are very familiar faces and we treat our clients like family.”
