Newcastle-based agent Cveta Kolarovski has recently kicked off her own real estate brand, ultimately aiming to empower Australian home buyers, owners and sellers.
After cultivating years of experience in an established brand, Ms Kolarovski has decided to form her own boutique agency, through which she intends to do real estate “the old-fashioned way”.
According to her, the new Cveta Property brand aims to go back to the roots of real estate as a “people industry”, where the main goal is to empower people.
“It’s all about people. You are dealing with the general public, all walks of life here, and we want to look at it like, how would you deal with it if it was you, [if] it was your property?” she said.
“So, every time we’re dealing with a client, when someone walks in our office or in our space, it’s all about empowering the individual. So, whether it’s a seller, whether it’s a buyer, landlord, tenant, whoever we try to come across, that’s what we aim to do.”
Working with her is an eight-strong team of industry professionals that share the same values when it comes to cultivating customer experience and earning long-term loyalty through relationship building.
“The number one thing is elevating our clients’ expectations,” she said. “When people come across, when they deal with us, we just want to elevate that. Whatever they feel they want to get, we want to get better. That’s what we do. So, every single person that works alongside me in Cveta Property, that’s what they must have. It’s that same desire.”
Ms Kolarovski prides herself both on her team’s skills and attitude, as well as their enthusiasm and heart for team-playing.
At the end of the day, working with their fellow team members and, most importantly, their clients is all about “we, us and them”, she said.
“I really look for certain things about people’s personality. That’s the biggest thing for me. You can only train people so much. Skills, they are very, very important, but a lot of it has got to do with your attitude. That’s a very big thing, your attitude and your enthusiasm, and very importantly, too, you have to be a team player,” she continued.
“There’s no I in this place. It’s all about we, us and them.”
New normal
This connection that Cveta Property aims to build with clients and the community as a whole has helped Ms Kolarovski and her team adapt to the “new normal” that was brought forth by the recent COVID-19 outbreak, which saw unprecedented movements in the market due to restrictions and other safety measures.
Ultimately, starting her own boutique agency amid a pandemic has allowed her to re-evaluate her position and affirm her values as a real estate agent, as well as consider the best offerings for her clients in their own circumstances.
“In that time frame, that’s when I got to do my refurbishments. It gave me a lot of time to do those things properly, not rush it, and then it also helped me with my design, to [work out] my tone of what our Cveta Property brand means to us all. So, there was a blessing in it for that,” Ms Kolarovski shared.
While there’s still a lot of uncertainty in the market at the moment as the economy strives to recover from the effects of the pandemic, she prides herself and her team on still being able to connect with clients.
Over time, they have learnt to embrace the unique circumstances and focus on providing their clients’ needs and helping them achieve their goals.
“With all our clients and everybody that comes onboard, it’s always a constant question about, what do you think, or how is this going to be, what’s happening? At the end of the day, nobody has a crystal ball. Nobody,” she said.
“So, what we do is we work within the moment: What do you require, what are your needs, what is your motivation, and what can we do to help you achieve your goals? That’s COVID, before, now and after. So, nothing really has changed in our systems and our methodology.”
