LJ Hooker’s Bayside Brisbane brand has welcomed an independent agency team to its fold.

In a win for LJ Hooker, agent Adam Gould and his team at Gould Estate Agents have joined Iain Carmichael’s LJ Hooker Property Centre.

According to a statement from the network, the move should see the brand’s 30 per cent market share in the local area continue to climb.

For Mr Gould, the move across to LJ Hooker Property Centre has allowed him to take a step back from the operational side of the business, instead focusing on what he loves most: “servicing my clients”.

Considering the timing as right, he added that seeing the same excellence in real estate “made it clear that the move was the right choice”.

“Iain and I discussed the benefits and it was clear that we were aligned,” he said.

According to Mr Gould, “by joining LJ Hooker Property Centre, my team and I will have greater efficiencies, which will give me back valuable time to spend with my clients to maximise outcomes”.

Lauding the business’s innovative systems and ability to provide a “seamless” real estate experience to clients, he also expressed: “It also means, together, we can take more market share, faster.”

For managing director of LJ Hooker Property Centre, Iain Carmichael, the merger of Gould Estate Agents into the business is a pleasing one.

He said adding Mr Gould’s staff into the team will further magnify the brand’s residential sales offering.

“We saw an opportunity to create a stronger agency and add value to our customers,” Mr Carmichael commented.

While always looking for new opportunities, the managing director said they are only actioned “if they make sense from a strategic and culture standpoint”.

“We found that Adam had built a similar company culture to ours with a tight-knit, family feel,” Mr Carmichael said.

“Having an agent of Adam’s calibre, who is ingrained in the community, join the team further enables us to provide exceptional customer service experiences.”

Mr Gould’s alignment with the network comes as LJ Hooker Queensland boasts of an almost 20 per cent increase in its state-based market share.
