After standing out in the sports arena, Alex Horan now aims to make his presence known in commercial real estate.
Ray White Commercial QLD has onboarded the rugby gun into the role of sales and leasing executive.
The sportsman-turned-salesman most recently played super rugby for the Sunwolves in Japan before hanging up his boots to pursue a career in real estate.
“I have always had a passion for the property industry, and with a bad run of injuries through 2020, I had to change my focus,” Mr Horan said.
He explained: “Joining a team full of experience and expertise I can learn off and further my knowledge in the industry was something that really appealed to me.”
Considering the industrial sector as full of potential, the new executive said he is “really looking forward to the opportunity to grow and to add something more to an already great team”.
Boasting Wallabies representative Tim Horan as his father, Mr Horan said of his relationship with his dad: “My father has always been supportive in my rugby journey, and the same goes for my new career in the real estate industry, and I’m excited for the new challenge.”
Ray White Commercial QLD managing director and partner Michael McCullagh has welcomed Mr Horan into the family, considering him “an excellent addition to the team”.
“We have a history of bringing people of sporting backgrounds to Ray White and their winning attitude always delivers success. We’re excited to see what Alex will bring,” Mr McCullagh said.
