Laing+Simmons is now set to service the south-west Sydney growth corridor, launching its first new office following its purchase by a team of network partners back in January.
The new Laing+Simmons West Hoxton | Austral office will be helmed by principal Aldo Palermo, backed by 20 years of experience with the brand as a former member of the Laing+Simmons Fairfield team.
Mr Palermo’s business will service the “burgeoning south-west”, including the West Hoxton, Austral, Leppington, Edmondson Park and Denham Court markets, offering a full suite of real estate services, from sales and auction services to property management and project marketing.
According to Mr Palermo, the region is bound to take on a greater role in the economies of both the city and the state as it undergoes substantial change, marked by major residential projects and significant infrastructure investment.
He said: “Major new residential projects in Leppington and Edmondson Park, as well as new land subdivisions across the south-west corridor, are creating a new future for this key growth area.
“This growth is being supported by significant infrastructure investment, most notably the Badgerys Creek airport, which brings flow-on economic benefits and, of course, jobs.
“It all bodes well for the local real estate market, particularly with demand so strong and interest rates at historical lows.”
Laing+Simmons CEO Leanne Pilkington has expressed her support for the new West Hoxton | Austral office.
“This area of south-western Sydney is an important growth market for Laing+Simmons, and Aldo is the ideal leader to represent our brand in the local community,” she added.
With continued growth in mind, Mr Palermo said he is on the lookout for sales agents and property managers to join the team.
