Two agents have left LJ Hooker to commence a new consolidated operation known as First National Real Estate Avenue.

David Bokor and Michael Walter have consolidated their Upper North Shore Turramurra and Pymble areas of operation for the new-look agency.

According to First National Real Estate, the pair have “unfranchised” themselves after nine years with the LJ Hooker brand.

Mr Bokor said “we are excited to have partnered with First National and view it as one of Australia’s emerging leaders in the digital revolution”.

He said the network “has embraced the digital revolution sweeping the industry, driven by Australian innovation”.

“It demonstrates a willingness to challenge itself and its members to use the leading-edge marketing technologies it offers,” the new First National director continued.

According to First National’s NSW business growth manager, Katina Giannos, the pair had expressed dissatisfaction with a lack of marketing options and corporate support.

She said: “Having outlined First National’s ‘Out There’ strategy with David and Michael, they were impressed by how comprehensive the network’s systems are, how easy they make marketing tasks, and they were surprised at how comparatively inexpensive they are compared to what they’d been used to.”

Mr Bokor added that a number of other factors were at play: First National Real Estate’s not-for-profit administrative status, its sponsorship of Kids Helpline, and the ability to service a wider geographical area.

“The not-for-profit economies of scale First National delivers are one of the biggest surprises, from my perspective,” he said.

“Saving substantially on our website costs alone is just one example, but First National’s own exclusive Hyperlocal advertising product, which is bundled with other digital marketing tools, is also less expensive than competing products.”

According to the pair, a combination of Mr Walter’s sales, auctioneer and business ownership skills with Mr Bokor’s tenacity, determination and history of premium property sales has the directors prepped for substantial expansion of the First National Avenue agency in the years to come.
