In its bid to establish dominance within the Victorian market, Harcourts has identified Coburg as a key expansion area.
It’s led to the network’s reveal of a brand-new Harcourts Coburg office.
According to Victoria franchise development manager David Silcock, the network considers the area to be morphing from a “bridesmaid” suburb to a burgeoning hotspot.
“With the new infrastructure such as the sky rail and entertainment amenities, we are seeing fewer people commuting into the city, and the benefits of being able to purchase a bigger space and live in a place that’s much greener, like Coburg and Fawkner, are really attractive,” he said.
Coburg is located nine kilometres north of the Melbourne CBD.
Louis Saba will be running the new agency, off the back of six years in the local market.
“We’ve identified quite a few growth areas in Melbourne and regional Victoria where we want to find and establish excellent local agents and Louis is certainly someone we wanted on our team,” Mr Silcock explained.
“Louis’ reputation precedes him as being honest and straightforward with his vendors and buyers. He has a contagious energy and is known for always going above and beyond clients’ expectations.”
Mr Silcock went on to add that “having someone with Louis’ deep knowledge of the area and proven track record is a real coup for our brand”.
Mr Saba said he looks forward to highlighting the uniqueness of the Coburg market moving forward — from the diversity of residents and shop owners to the area’s bustling and busy vibe of Sydney Road and surrounds.
The new business owner reportedly intends to highlight the Harcourts value of “people first” in servicing the Coburg market.
“For me, it’s not just about making the sale; it’s about building long-lasting relationships with my clients and guiding them through the entire sales process. Selling your home can be a stressful time; my goal is to make my clients feel at ease,” Mr Saba commented.
“Watching people find their first home, the happiness and joy it brings them, this brings me great satisfaction.”
