A local agent will be taking the reins of a brand-new Stone Real Estate offering in what the network considers to be “one of Australia’s fastest-growing cities”.

Jason Savage will be taking on the strategic outpost in the city of almost 350,000 people.

According to the real estate group, “the region has been long identified as a key market to complement the burgeoning growth of Stone Real Estate’s network”.

The principal sees the Logan area as “rife with opportunity”, with around 1,000 people moving to Queensland each week from the southern states as a result of the pandemic and a pivot to remote work.

“Now is a fantastic time for sellers in Logan, with first home buyers and young families looking to the region for its affordability,” he said.

Mr Savage will be supported in the business by director of sales Chris Roy and director of property management Tara Platell.

He’s expressed that he’s “looking forward to working with a great brand and with great leaders as we realise the opportunities of the Logan market”.

Weighing in on the new Logan offering, Stone’s Queensland head of franchise, Scott Kelly, said that presence — between Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast — will “enable the company to further build out the advantage of its relationships nationally, benefiting clients and agents alike”.

He said: “Jason’s leadership and ambition to grow his already substantial business perfectly aligned with Stone’s philosophy and support platform to promote business growth.

“Chris Roy, director of sales, and Tara Platell, director of property management, round out a quality leadership team which will assist each individual within the business to reach their true potential.”
