OBrien Real Estate has announced plans for its 30th office — a second office in the City of Whitehorse.
Local agent Rachel Luo will be heading up the new office, at this stage slated to open by the middle of August, and located in the green belt of Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
Ms Luo had built up a reputation in the Vermont real estate market prior to being offered a leadership position with OBrien.
She holds a master’s degree in business from Monash University which she obtained after moving to Australia with her family. Before this, she was a teacher in China, running an English tutoring school.
According to the new director, joining OBrien was a natural next step in her career “because of the mutual family values the business and I shared, along with the aligned vision to help people grow”.
Ms Luo will be joined by a team of dedicated property consultants in operating the new office.
Priding OBrien for having strong female agents and leadership, OBrien’s general manager, Jason Mudford, said Ms Luo’s enthusiasm and diverse skills would be a great addition to the network.
The Vermont-based office stands as the latest effort by OBrien under a new expansion strategy, which aims to see the brand move outwards from its roots in Melbourne’s south-east — across the Bayside and Peninsula regions — to all corridors of Metropolitan Melbourne.
Mr Mudford said that this strategy ultimately aims to facilitate growth for both its offices and its people.
