The New South Wales network has revealed a new appointment into the role of head of sales while also creating a brand-new chief operating officer post.
Mark Horvat will take up the role of head of sales, while Brent May has received a promotion into the newly created role of chief operating officer.
According to Di Jones CEO Dean Mackie, the growth of the executive team is to “help assist in planning and delivering strategy for our current footprint and growth in complementary markets”.
He outlined that “Brent’s role will be to lead, drive revenue and oversee the end-to-end operations of the Di Jones business. He will be tasked with finding better ways to do things and will manage innovation.”
“Meanwhile, as head of sales, Mark will strategically lead sales, productivity and market share, while strengthening Di Jones’ capability to support, coach and recruit into our existing footprint,” the CEO continued.
Mr May has touted Mr Horvat’s experience as former managing director of London-based real estate firm Foxtons.
He said: “A Canadian who has spent the past 20 years in the UK, Mark has most recently overseen Foxtons’ operations, working across all areas of the business in a strategic leadership role.
“As an experienced sales leader, Mark has a strong track record in delivering growth and developing high-performance sales teams.”
The new chief operating officer expressed no doubt that Mr Horvat would “help us to expand the Di Jones network, attract and retain the best agents and achieve our goal of continued growth and success for our team”.
Mr Horvat has also weighed in on his appointment to the team, expressing his excitement at sharing his experience and a unique perspective with the team.
“I love real estate and the meaningful difference that it makes in peoples’ lives when done well,” Mr Horvat said.
“I am passionate about great service, and believe that good tech can help talented agents deliver a better customer experience to more people more often.”
