A PRD principal has squeezed one more big milestone into 2021, opening his second office for the year and fifth office overall to add to the brand’s portfolio in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Central Coast area.

After welcoming people to the new PRD Inner City office earlier in the year, PRD’s Newcastle co-director Mark Kentwell set his sights on expanding his suite of locations into a quintet.

The PRD Coastal office, located in Long Jetty, will help Mr Kentwell’s agents be present in more neighbourhoods within their service area, the principal said. He will also give his team the opportunity to work from any of the five locations so they are not geographically constrained.

The agents he has already hired for the new outpost include Samantha Hardy, Troy Brooker and Tahlia Tuxford, who all specialise in upmarket coastal homes and acreages of $2 million and over.

Mark Kentwell said that this specialty would suit the marketing and focus of the new venture and would allow his team to present a robust level of support to buyers within that bracket.

He also noted the expanded footprint would provide more career opportunities to the group he’s been developing for over a decade – Mr Kentwell joined PRD under his parents’ business in 2005, eventually taking the operation over and continuing to build on their growth.

“After 17 years of constant innovation and investment, it’s great to be able to say that we have a genuine progression plan for rising stars who want to grow and scale together, having a quality lifestyle, fun and building assets along the way,” Mr Kentwell said of the latest expansion.

And he has no intention of stopping there, having already signalled his desire to add more offices in the future.
