A real estate team that has served Sydney’s Auburn and Lidcombe suburbs for over a decade has joined forces with boutique outfit Laing+Simmons.

Led by Themy Panagiotidis, the group anticipates the move will kick off a year of growth, as they’re currently recruiting for seasoned sales agents and property managers with local expertise.

“Becoming part of the Laing+Simmons family to embrace a more innovative approach suited to the future of real estate makes sense for us at this time. We’re looking to grow and a strong culture is an important part of attracting the best people to facilitate our plans,” Mr Panagiotidis explained.

“With the right brand and the right support, we’re ready to take our business to the next level.”

Laing+Simmons chief executive Leanne Pilkington said the Auburn|Lidcombe team was a valuable addition to the network, and they were looking forward to supporting the office’s future ambitions.

“This is a diverse, vibrant and growing part of Sydney, and we’re fortunate to be represented in the local market by such a highly experienced and capable team. We look forward to being part of the Laing+Simmons Auburn|Lidcombe growth journey well into the future,” Ms Pilkington said.

Mr Panagiotidis agreed that the area his team serves is multifaceted, representing an important part of the Sydney market.

“The Auburn and Lidcombe markets are some of the most diverse in Sydney. Among buyers, we have young families, first home buyers as well as investors particularly active at the moment,” Mr Panagiotidis said.

“The diversity extends to the local housing mix too, with a variety of homes suited to buyers at all stages of life. There is a significant amount of new development underway, from townhouse projects to apartment developments, to complement the larger freestanding homes in the area.”
