The growing group has nabbed the former chief marketing officer of Harcourts International for the role, calling it a “crucial” appointment as it pushes for a bigger piece of the property pie.

Stephen Deane has been named as Coronis’ newest recruit, as the brand reportedly builds on its vision “of becoming Asia-Pacific’s leading property services provider”.

Calling Coronis “a great brand that’s on the move”, he has indicated his excitement at becoming part of its growth journey.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with Karuna and the leadership team as we realise the potential of the Coronis brand across Asia-Pacific,” Mr Deane said.

Coronis chief operating officer Karuna Dimelow has called Mr Deane’s appointment “a major coup”.

“His appointment as CMO is crucial to our growth strategy and delivering on our vision to be a leading full-service property solutions provider,” Ms Dimelow said.

The chief marketing officer brings more than two decades of marketing leadership experience to the role, having previously worked with the likes of brands including Dentsu, Shine Lawyers and WPP – both domestically and internationally.

Coronis has touted his working knowledge of operations, strategic brand marketing, sales, digital marketing, communications, public relations, client experience, and data and intelligence, among other things.

With that backing, Mr Deane sees the property services and marketing industries as “dynamically symbiotic” – and now accelerating due to technology and fluid expectations of people.

“We now compete in delivering positive brand experiences across industries, and at Coronis, we’re focused on providing our people and clients with an outstanding full-service property experience that helps change their lives for the better,” he said.

Mr Deane’s appointment follows the addition of Lauren Williams to the marketing team’s capability.

It also comes shortly after the reveal of a brand new Cranbourne HQ for the Victorian arm of the business.

The group’s focus on full-service property solutions has been evident for a while now, having recently upped its focus on financial services with the appointment of a financial services director, and has also recently named a new in-house conveyancing team director from inside the business.
