The top-ranking agent is the first addition to McGrath St Kilda office’s leadership group since its founding principals spearheaded the network’s entrance into the Melbourne market back in 2015.
Having worked with co-principals Josh Stirling and Michael Townsend since the office’s inception, Nicole Prime has been welcomed into the partnership fold off the back of more than two decades in Melbourne’s bayside markets — with McGrath lauding “her proven sales strategies and a quality database”.
Her recent success has also led to her inclusion in three REB rankings in 2022: REB’s Top 50 Women in Real Estate (ranked no. 40), REB Dealmakers ranking (ranked no. 44), and REB Top 50 Agents Victoria (ranked no. 48).
Taking time to recognise the McGrath brand, Ms Prime said: “McGrath is an exceptional brand for its values, tech and client offering — and I have enormous respect for Josh and Michael and what they have created in a relatively short time.”
She revealed: “When the prospect of my making a bigger commitment to their business first came up, it was a conversation all three of us were very excited to have.”
For Mr Townsend, the leadership expansion represents a “significant milestone” for the business, acknowledging that “across real estate, there aren’t many pathways to ownership for staff”.
“Nicole is results-driven and has a high appreciation of premium customer service. She’s been a leader within our team for many years, and we’re excited that she’s taken the next step with the brand and our vision: her experience will help us shape our growth ambitions, going forward,” he stated.
Also welcoming Ms Prime into the partnership, Mr Stirling said her elevation comes as the agency broadens out its team and market presence.
“Nicole is a longstanding member of our sales team, and her decision to join Michael and I validates our vision and plans for future growth,” he commented.
“We’ll be supporting more agents to offer McGrath’s service standards to our clients, helping us build upon double-digit market share in our core areas.”
At present, the McGrath St Kilda team consists of 10 sales agents, including selling principals.
The outfit has revealed that Ms Prime’s focus will be on growing out the sales team, inclusive of young agents and more experienced operators.
McGrath St Kilda’s growth plans come off the back of a 20 per cent increase in apartment transactions in St Kilda in August 2022, year on year.
With Elwood commanding prices house prices approximately 13 per cent higher than they were 10 years ago off the same amount of volume, Ms Prime’s recent successful sales include 85 Dickens Street, Elwood ($3,060,000) and 33 Goldsmith Street, Elwood ($3,622,000).
