The boutique real estate business has welcomed a new team into its ranks, as it looks to continue its trajectory of growth in the Northern Beaches area.

The firm shared that the LJ Hooker Collaroy outfit — which is led by Andrew Strong and has serviced the Dee Why to Narrabeen region for close to 20 years — has rebranded and will now operate under the Cunninghams brand following a merger.

Managing director John Cunningham lauded the latest addition to the Cunninghams Northern Beaches roster.

“We are thrilled to have Andrew and the Collaroy team now part of the Cunninghams family,” he stated.

After 30 years in the Northern Beaches, Cunninghams launched its fourth beachside office in Avalon in July 2021

With the latest merger, the brand can now provide its offerings to four locations on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, namely, Balgowlah, Avalon Beach, Manly and Collaroy/Dee Why.

“Cunninghams are one team, four offices, and one business group so this is a huge value add for our new clients who will now have access to an extensive client database, as well as a large team of non-competing sales agents who also have broad client networks,” Mr Cunningham stated.

To consolidate and strengthen its operations in the Dee Why/Cromer/Collaroy/Narrabeen area, the firm also shared that the existing Cunninghams Dee Why team will move into a “more prominent and central office” located at 1020 Pittwater Road Collaroy.

Priding itself as being “market leaders” in the area, the firm revealed that its market share is at “the highest it’s been in the company’s history”.

It also cited that it is now selling close to one in nine homes along the beaches of Manly, Palm Beach and Forest region.

With the latest team expansion and office relocation, Cunninghams looks to continue its trajectory of growth by “strengthening the team to better service clients” in their markets of operation.

“Our brand and our reputation will bring clients a trusted and transparent approach to real estate. We believe this is why we are the most recommended agency on the Northern Beaches, according to our client reviews and surveys.

This is something that matters to us as much as it matters to our clients,” Mr Cunningham stated.

Earlier this year, the Northern Beaches-based firm also bolstered its leadership slate to accelerate its expansion in the region’s upper end. In June, Rob Matheson joined the firm’s roster as head of growth and performance.
