Sotheby’s is ending the year with a bang by making its foray into one of Queensland’s most desirable lifestyle destinations.
Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty shared that it has launched a new office in Noosa — adding the Sunshine Coast resort area to the firm’s stable of offices in the state.
Located in the heart of the Noosa Junction dining and retail precinct, the sixth Sotheby’s office has opened with a full house of staff and is ready for business following the firm’s acquisition of boutique business Brown & Co’s residential sales division.
While Brown & Co’s holiday leasing division remains under previous management, the business’ real estate sales unit will now be under the Queensland Sotheby’s brand.
Rounding out the new outfit’s team is Richard Bowen and his boutique firm Jet Rose Properties.
Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty’s chief executive Paul Arthur lauded the addition of the Sunshine Coast-based team to its slate.
“Jet Rose Properties has a significant presence in Sunrise Beach, Peregian Beach and [Perigian] Springs.
“They bring a wealth of local knowledge and state-of-the-art operation systems. This, combined with the Sotheby’s brand and global platform, creates a formattable platform for success,” Mr Arthur said.
The firm is also banking on the anticipated opening of the famed boutique hotel, The Calile, on Noosa Junction to bring in more clients to the new office.
Like the other five offices, the Queensland Sotheby’s Noosa office will be owned and led by Mr Arthur.
Aside from being encouraged by the buoyancy of Sotheby’s luxury real estate sales, Mr Arthur shared that the new location was launched in line with his goal of bringing “one of the most revered brands to the Noosa clientele”.
“It’s such an international region, that the national and global essence of Sotheby’s network will be welcomed as a true point of difference. We have a proven record of connecting discerning buyers and sellers with extraordinary properties,” he said.
He also pointed towards the newly created team as the heart of the operations. “In any successful business environment, it is always about the people. The Noosa team joining us under the Sotheby’s banner are like-minded professionals with a compatible corporate culture,” he said.
“Our focus is providing an outstanding experience to our clients, customers, and service providers.”
The sixth office launch comes six years after Queensland Sotheby’s opened its first office in Main Beach and adds to the offices in Brisbane (two locations), Port Douglas and Whitsundays.
