After fortifying its presence on the western side of the Pacific Motorway in Brisbane, the network is now looking to expand eastside with two top-gun agents in the lead.
Kosma Comino and Karl Gillespie will now operate under the LJ Hooker Property Partners brand, servicing the Mount Gravatt area as team leader and senior sales agent, respectively.
Lachlan Smith, LJ Hooker’s Property Partners partner and sales director, said the expansion would not only boost the agency’s presence in the city’s south, but also allow it to tap into a $2 billion market encompassing 10 to 15 suburbs.
“Kos and Karl are dynamic, young real estate professionals who already have established profiles in the area. Basing themselves out of Mount Gravatt will deliver efficiencies that will underpin an even greater client experience for sellers,” he stated.
The eastern expansion comes after three decades in the corridor from Robertson to Parkinson, which is located on the other side of the Pacific Motorway.
Notably, Mr Comino and Mr Gillespie are also in a league of their own, being recognised amongst the Group’s top 0.5 per cent of agents internationally.
Giving further insight into their expansion strategy, Mr Comino stated that the team plans to leverage the brand’s technology, marketing platforms, lead generation solutions, and training support to offer “an unmatched experience to sellers”.
In addition, he revealed that they maintain the brand’s auction culture in the new location, which he credited for his strong sales performance in 2022.
“Ninety percent of my sales over the last year were achieved via auctions, and Karl is likewise a great auction agent,” he stated.
Mr Comino also credited the brand’s strong resonance with sellers for the strong results. “A significant proportion of the 4122 market is retirees and empty nesters who are looking to downsize and they trust the LJ Hooker name,” he said.
LJ Hooker’s general manager of network, Stephen Mutton, said he is looking forward to Mr Comino and Mr Gillespie “winning the 4122 postcode”.
