The boutique real estate brand has added a new office in the Moreton Bay region of South-East Queensland, deepening its foothold in the “rapidly gentrifying” market.
Belle Property shared the the launch of its new outfit in Newport, led by principals Clinton Viertel and Dianne Clarke.
The new office, located in Stockland’s new Newport Marketplace, has also secured exclusive rights to operate as the only real estate agency in the area.
Notably, the opening of the new office in Newport marks an expansion of operations for Mr Viertel and Ms Clarke, who already operate an office in Redcliffe, as they seek to broaden their market presence in the Moreton Bay region.
“With Dianne specialising in the Newport area and me being the Scarborough/Redcliffe expert, it made sense to open a new office in Stockland’s new Newport Marketplace,” Mr Viertel explained.
Ms Clark, who has taken on the role of sales director and brand and marketing expert at the Newport office, notes that she and Mr Viertel “complement each other”.
“Three years ago, I’d been working with another franchise and needed a change; the Belle Property brand spoke to me, especially the customer service ethos. First, I joined Belle Property Redcliffe and now you’ll find me at our new Newport office,” she stated.
Mr Viertel noted that the new office’s launch is in line with the rising demand from owner-occupiers in the Redcliffe Peninsula.
While the area has been long viewed as a weekend holiday destination for many Brisbanites, he highlighted that the area now attracts mature families and retirees, many of whom are downsizing from acreage to waterfront homes in locations such as gated communities and other canal-side lifestyle properties.
“We see this northern area transforming and maturing as a property market,” he added.
Ms Clarke shared that the business’s mission is securing the “highest price” for their sellers while also “understanding their life goals to help them achieve those aims.”
“With home sellers, it’s often about showing them possibilities and opening their eyes to new opportunities. And with buyers, I’m continually educating them on the market,” she stated.
And while Mr Viertel acknowledged that the market “might have changed”, they view the current conditions as a “normal market” where negotiations with buyers are on the table.
“We’re still achieving sales records,” he added.
Belle Property Australasia chief executive Peter Hanscomb said that while it can be hard to “stand out” in the Redcliffe Peninsula market, he highlighted that the brand’s local team have the competitive advantage due to their working ethos.
“Many agents are focused on the lifestyle a real estate career offers them. But Clinton and his team are in this industry for their clients. They don’t ask their sellers to meet the market; instead, they find the best buyers, to ensure home sellers achieve the sale price they need,” he commented.
Moving forward, Mr Viertel and Ms Clarke revealed their plans to expand their team as the business eyes “further expansion”.
