A Victorian real estate agency owner with two offices on the state’s coast has joined forces with Coronis.

Adam Schutz brings his teams, located in the Mornington Peninsula in the town of Hastings, and further into the Western Port Bay in Koo Wee Rup, to the growing network.

The agent and business director spoke to the level of trust that’s needed from both sides when an agency decides to align itself with a franchise.

“Being part of a franchise is more than just the brand above your door. It’s about the partnership that is there with support and guidance. It’s a community of fellow directors and staff that support your business,” Mr Schutz said.

He commented that he could tell Coronis would be a good fit for him and his team.

“As a young company that is looking into the next generation, we see a real alignment with Coronis’ core values and have been greatly impressed with the level of support we have seen so far. We look at Coronis as a platform to guide our business in further growth.”

Furthermore, Coronis’ Victorian state director, Adam Flynn, spoke about the strategic position these two offices will fill for the group.

“Geographically, our further expansion and growth into these two markets is consistent with our vision and growth strategy with Coronis throughout Victoria and Australia,” Mr Flynn said.

He expressed his confidence that together with Coronis’ support, Mr Schutz’ business would be able to reach further heights.

“Adam Schutz is an intelligent and considered businessman along with being an acclaimed agent and director. Adam has both stable and strong sales and property management divisions inside his organisation which represents the perfect opportunity for our group to add value through recruitment, marketing, support, and training which we are confident will ultimately lead to both strong and sustainable growth for his business and team.”

The pair of new outfits comes on the heels of the addition of a franchise in Yarraville, in Victoria’s inner west.

The group is also embarking on a new phase, after chief executive officer Andrew Coronis, who took over running the firm from his father, announced he was stepping down from the position, transitioning into the role of chairman while network veteran Karuna Mazzocchi steps into the top job.

Founded in south-east Queensland, the state where it operated almost exclusively for more than three decades, Coronis only made inroads into Victoria in 2020.
