A new era begins for one of the boutique network’s inner Sydney offices as its leadership team undergoes a refresh.
Ted Pye and James Perlowski, touted by the network as “two of its leading inner Sydney agents,” will become the new co-principals at Belle Property Surry Hills as the office moves to a new location on Foveaux Street.
Belle Property chief Peter Hanscomb welcomed the changing of the guards in the outfit, noting the agents’ decision to step up as business leaders highlights the network’s capacity to “identify and nurture talented young agents and provide a clear career path”.
“Ted and James are passionate young local market experts who, having established a strong customer base in the area, are now taking their career to the next level by stepping up as Co-Principals.”
Citing their “hard work,” which has allowed them access to the “unique opportunity” to become entrepreneurs, Mr Hanscomb is optimistic on the business’ prospects operating in the key areas of Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Redfern, Waterloo and Paddington.
[We] believe that they will thrive and grow their team in what is an exciting inner-city market to operate in,” he stated.
For his part, Mr Perlowski expressed his belief “the timing is right” for him and Mr Pye to establish their office.
“I have worked in the area for five years and Ted for eight years and we have established a strong client base and are excited and energetic about the area,” he explained.
Mr Perlowski described Surry Hills as “a melting pot with people from all walks of life”, including first home buyers, young professionals, downsizers, upsizers and those looking for a residence in the city.
“Ted and I are a strong team, having played competitive sports together and finding common ground in our passion for real estate,” Mr Perlowski said.
“As co-principals we will lead a new team of agents in Surry Hills, with a desire to be nimble and offer a supportive culture of growth and achievement,” he added.
Mr Pye expressed his anticipation in leveraging the resources offered by the network. This includes access to insights on nationwide "buying habits", the benefits generated the partnership with lifestyle brand Sitchu as well as the brand association with Belle magazine - all of which he expects to provide value for the business’ clientele.
“Most importantly we have the backing and support of the entire Belle Property leadership team, and we can’t wait to build an office that truly reflects our hard working and honest approach to real estate,” he concluded.
