Barry Plant ventures further into the Yarra Valley market with the opening of a new office in the booming tourist and wine region.

After successfully establishing a presence in Croydon, co-owners Matt Jinks and James Brougham said it was “a logical business move” to expand into Yarra Glen, with Sarah Savio taking the lead as the new outfit’s branch manager.

“Sarah’s real estate success has been built on providing a level of service that is just extraordinary,” Mr Jinks said.

Touted as an award-winning sales agent and champion auctioneer, Ms Savio has built significant market share in the Yarra Valley. The new outfit’s leader also has the unique home town advantage, having been brought up and purchased several properties in the area.

For her part, Ms Savio expressed her enthusiasm about bringing her brand of real estate to her home town of Yarra Glen and the surrounding areas, stating: “What my team and I will bring is a level of real estate experience that the community has never encountered before.”

“Not only are we highly skilled, but we have the best technology tools and data at our fingertip,” she added.

Ms Savio highlighted the team’s strong understanding of utilising cost-effective marketing including social media allows them to attract buyers to the local market from all over the country.

Currently, Yarra Valley offers a mix of residential housing around the town centre, which extends to acreages with stunning lifestyle homes, with prices ranging from the mid-$800,000s to $4 million.

Notably, the areas real estate market has experienced a boom in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as many people are pursuing their tree change dream while desiring a reasonable commute to the city.

Ms Savio adds that being part of the Barry Plant Group means that she can leverage the strength of the network to get the best outcomes for her clients.

Barry Plant chief executive Lisa Pennell lauded Ms Savio stepping into the leadership role, adding it aligns with the network’s goal of empowering young women on their leadership journeys.

“Sarah is a great example of the Barry Plant commitment to developing people within our group and providing them with the training, mentoring and opportunities they need to succeed.”

“She’s driven, emotionally intelligent, caring and capable, which is everything that will make this office successful,” she stated.
