After years of running an independent outfit, a Central Coast operator adds his weight to The Agency.

Ron Coleman has been running an agency in the beachside location of Toukley for 14 years and working in the industry for 26. Now, the real estate veteran has linked up with The Agency, bringing his team over to the ASX-listed outfit.

With an existing office in Terrigal servicing the wider area and an offshoot of that team already operating in Toukley, the network is now beefing up its presence in the sought-after lifestyle location.

The firm’s CEO of real estate, Matt Lahood, commented that the office and network found common ground in their plans for the future.

“Our paths align, and Ron is keen to take his business in the direction we are headed,” Mr Lahood said.

“Ron’s strong set of values and leadership style see The Agency excited by his decision which will complement our existing presence in Toukley and build on the formidable team we have assembled in Terrigal on the lower NSW Central Coast,” he added.

Mr Coleman said the decision to join The Agency was motivated by a desire to focus more on interaction with clients, getting back-end assistance for the team’s admin needs.

“Joining The Agency provides me with a great level of freedom,” Mr Coleman said.

The firm’s support, he said, allowed him to let go of the “complications and distractions of business management”.

“I am empowered to interact more and more with my customers, ensuring the very best results for them. It frees me from the shackles of administration to finesse my client relationships and results.

Though Mr Coleman would be dedicated to the area whatever its prospects, he expressed his enthusiasm for the future with the Central Coast remaining high on regional movers’ desired locations.

“We are seeing a shift in the area and a new wave of people seeing the benefits of the lifestyle opportunities that the NSW Central Coast’s northern villages offer,” Mr Coleman said.

He noted that a recent listing they had secured for a $15 million development opportunity showcased “the direction and growth of our area”.
