Harris Real Estate has announced that Tanner Real Estate will be joining the fold, increasing the network’s presence in the city’s south.
Through the merger, the entire Tanner team will transition to Harris Real Estate, with the former agency’s Tanner Daw Park and Blackwood offices set to be integrated as two complementary teams within the greater Harris network. The new arrangement will take effect on 1 May 2024.
Harris Real Estate reported that the Tanner Real Estate team brings with them two decades of service in the Mitcham council area. The network expressed its confidence that combining with Harris’ existing expertise and local market knowledge of the Mitcham area will decisively underpin their increasing focus within these zones.
The addition of Tanner’s two locations was also cited as significantly expanding Harris’ portfolio of property areas and market insights within the Mitcham area, all of this contributing to Harris’ increased capacity to deliver a more focused and optimised experience for their clients.
Simon Tanner, director and founder of Tanner Real Estate, was enthusiastic about the opportunity, stating: “We are beyond thrilled to be merging with one of the most successful brands in Australia, and to start the next chapter of our boutique family-based business with Harris, going from strength to strength together.”
Phil Harris, managing director of Harris Real Estate, shared the sentiment. “We’re better together, and that can only mean better things for the industry, and for our clients,” Harris remarked.
This development comes off the top of a strong year for Harris Real Estate, with the network’s Kent Town office placing fifth on the REB Top 50 Sales Offices ranking for 2024.
