The network’s new appointee will bring a multifaceted skill set to managing RE/MAX’s Queensland and Northern NSW operations.

RE/MAX Australia has appointed Daniel Roberts as its new Queensland and Northern NSW franchise manager.

The new franchise manager has been reported as focusing on RE/MAX’s broker owners, with Roberts to facilitate the continued health and growth of REMAX’s broker owners’ business operations.

With profitability the forefront goal of Roberts’ professional mindset, this drive was described as beginning at Roberts Farm Supplies, a family business that his father had taken control of at the age of 18.

“Dad is still there now, some 51 years later, and my strong work ethic was instilled in me from a young age and shaped by my family’s background in business,” said Roberts.

Throughout the early 2000s, Roberts then worked in hotel ownership. After taking over a hotel with family, he was able to quadruple the establishment’s business in only four years before going on to acquire another hotel that reportedly changed the landscape of hotels along the Great Ocean Road.

“This involved innovation, dedication, commitment to achieving results and a lot of hard work,” Roberts detailed.

After leaving hotel management and transitioning to real estate, Roberts established his regional Victorian agency, Roberts One Real Estate in 2009 where he served as owner until selling the business in 2022.

With the business acumen and skills Roberts has developed over his diverse professional career, the new franchise manager stated he believes these qualities will enable him to “make positive impacts on RE/MAX broker owners’ business operations”.

“I can relate to them and they to me … I can offer real solutions … and I’m even happy to have them learn from any mistakes I’ve made,” Roberts expressed.

“I can see a lot of these things coming to the table in Queensland … And I can help the broker owners and their teams prepare for and manage these changes.”

Commenting on Roberts’ appointment, RE/MAX Australia managing director, Joel Davoren, stated: “We are extremely excited to welcome Daniel to the RE/MAX Australia team for his operational experience, corporate experience and, most significantly, his experience as a successful real estate business owner.”

“While adding value to our business operations in Queensland and Northern New South Wales is (Robert’s) first priority, our networks across Australia will benefit,” Davoren concluded.

This announcement marks the global RE/MAX network’s second appointment this month, with Mala Maharaj having recently taken over from Don Ha as CEO of the network’s New Zealand/Fiji operations.
