A Sydney beachside suburb is the launching pad for a new chapter in the network’s growth trajectory.

Stone Real Estate has opened an office in Maroubra, an eastern Sydney suburb just south of Coogee.

Heading the new office are “dynamic duo” Ivan Gunawan and Karlina Widjaja, who have moved over from independent agency 88 International. The pair will serve as co-directors for Stone Maroubra.

Gunawan and Widjaja have previous experience as sales executives at large commercial real estate firms, including CBRE and Colliers.

Speaking of the transition, Gunawan stated: “We are incredibly excited to bring Stone Real Estate’s unique approach to Maroubra.”

“Our team is dedicated to providing unparalleled service and innovative solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients. I am particularly thrilled to be able to serve both my residential and project clients under the one brand, enhancing the overall client experience.”

“We look forward to building strong relationships and contributing positively to the local community,” Gunawan stated.

The brand’s head of franchise, Luke Cameron, expressed support for the new addition to Stone Real Estate’s agency network.

“The opening of the Maroubra office represents an exciting chapter for Stone Real Estate,” said Cameron.

“Ivan’s impressive track record at CBRE is a testament to his success and professionalism. His decision to join the Stone brand reflects our commitment to attracting top-tier talent and delivering exceptional service.”

“Ivan and Karlina’s leadership and commitment to excellence align perfectly with our company’s values. We are confident that their expertise will significantly enhance our presence in the eastern suburbs and deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients,” Cameron concluded.

Earlier this year, Stone added an office in another beachside location, the southern Sydney suburb of Sans Souci.

A new location in Bateau Bay on the NSW Central Coast also expanded the brand’s offerings in April this year, bringing Stone’s total number of Central Coast offices to 11.
