Two new office openings in Chatswood and Burwood will mark a new chapter of growth for the network.
Plus Agency, a Sydney-based project marketing company, will double its offices from two to four in coming months.
Currently, the network has offices on Victoria Avenue in Chatswood, and in Castle Hill. Now, Plus Agency is getting set to open a new office on Help Street in Chatswood, and another office in Burwood, with both set to be up and running by October.
“Launching these two new offices is incredibly fulfilling, but also challenging,” said general manager Peter Li. “We’re kicking off a recruiting campaign and hope to hire as many as 30 agents by January.”
The agency specialises in selling new developments on Sydney’s north shore, with a particular focus on marketing to Asian buyers. The company hopes that the new expansion to Burwood will help cement its presence in the inner west.
“It’s more effective to sell projects from a nearby sales office than from across the harbour,” said Li.
“The concept of the Burwood office will be similar to our Victoria Avenue office in Chatswood. We will have a large and beautiful showroom in the front where we can show off the projects and host events. In the back, we will have meeting rooms and office spaces,” Li explained.
Heading up the Burwood office will be Roger Zhu, currently a partner at Plus Agency’s Victoria Avenue office.
Meanwhile, the second Chatswood office on Help Street will aim to focus on small boutique developments.
Fiona Yang, executive partner and REB’s 2024 Marketing Professional of the Year, stated that the boutique office will respond to shifting demand in the north shore project market.
“Our current Chatswood office focuses on medium-sized developments, with up to a few hundred units. But there’s a significant pipeline of small, boutique projects coming onto the market, such as single-family houses and duplexes.”
“We want our new Help Street office to serve this kind of project in the north shore area,” Yang said.
As well as the traditional showroom fixtures and fittings, Plus Agency’s Help Street office will include a hospitality venture as well.
“The Help Street office will be an enjoyable place to visit and will include a café with an exclusive outdoor terrace, to maximise the number of people who come through the space and see what’s for sale,” said Yang.
