Heading towards its 100-year anniversary, a network is doubling down on its growth plans with the addition of a new member of the corporate team.
LJ Hooker has appointed Jarita Rayasam as head of operations strategic growth at the network, working out of the brand’s Sydney head office.
With experience across major networks such as Ray White and McGrath, serving the former in a growth role, Rayasam will focus on propelling LJ Hooker’s expansion plans as the group heads towards its 100-year anniversary in 2028.
She will function primarily as a coordination point for collaboration between the growth team and key departments such as account management, marketing and onboarding.
Rayasam will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities for sales and leadership teams, ensuring the business makes “agile and data-driven decisions”, according to the network.
LJ Hooker’s group head of network in Australia, Chris Keating, praised Rayasam’s “outstanding track record of building strong, effective relationships with clients and colleagues, while expertly prioritising tasks with meticulous attention to detail”, and cited these skills for selecting her for the role.
“We have clear exciting strategies for expanding the network, and Jarita will play an important role in its delivery and execution. Jarita’s outstanding track record of delivering growth in the real estate sector makes her an exciting addition to our leadership at this key time,” he said.
On her part, Rayasam cited the brand’s “strong leadership” for her interest in joining the network, as well as its “outstanding reputation and excellence in the industry”.
“I am looking forward to contributing to LJ Hooker’s strategic growth as the company approaches its centenary,” she said.
