Barry Plant’s newest Cranbourne office will be headed by a dynamic female leadership team.
Nicola Parreira, director of Barry Plant Narre Warren, and Angelia Williams are rejoining forces to co-direct a venture, opening an office in Cranbourne under Barry Plant’s banner.
It’s the start of a new chapter for the women that the network describes as “trailblazers” due to their high level of performance and leadership within the sector.
In the past 12 months, Parreira has sold 63 properties with an average sale price of $957,000, achieving a total sales value of $57.5 million. On average properties were on the market for 27 days. Parreira’s highest sale was $3.2 million, which was sold at auction after 24 days.
Moreover, within the last year, Williams has sold 59 properties with a total sale value of $45.4 million, achieving an average sale price of $770k. She worked alongside Pareira in 34 of these transitions. The properties averaged 38 days on the market, with her highest recorded sale at $1.9 million, which was sold after 24 days on the market.
Over eight years ago, Williams started as Parreira’s assistant and their relationship has developed into a powerful partnership.
“There’s a great synergy between Angelia and me, we combine old-school values with new-school technology and that’s what sets us apart,” Parreira stated.
Meanwhile, Williams commented: “Nicola has been my mentor from the start, and when the opportunity to co-direct this office came up, it was a no-brainer.”
Together, they are set to introduce an innovative approach to real estate, drawing on their strong partnership and established success to provide the Cranbourne community with a unique offering.
Parreira has overseen the success of Barry Plant Narre Warren and is eager to extend her expertise into the Cranbourne community.
“The Cranbourne office is a natural progression for us, we’re taking the customer service excellence and innovation we’ve honed in Narre Warren, and bringing it to an area that’s ripe with potential,” Parreira said.
Since the beginning of their eight-year connection, Williams has built a strong career as an agent. “Angelia has always been a rising star, her marketing finesse and deep understanding of the local real estate landscape make her the perfect partner to bring our vision for Cranbourne to life," Parreira said.
“Heading a new office has been something I have wanted to do for a long time, it just seems like my obvious next step," Williams stated.
Led by two female directors, working with an all-male multicultural team, the venture creates a distinct and diverse dynamic in the area.
“We’ve built a team that’s reflective of the diversity in the Cranbourne region, and we’re training them to deliver customer service that’s second to none,” Parreira said.
The new office will host a diverse team of seven real estate professionals, with five dedicated to Cranbourne. Both directors express confidence that their joint leadership will result in exceptional outcomes for clients in the Cranbourne area.
“It’s exciting to be part of something bigger than myself, building this office from the ground up and reflecting the high standards we’ve set at Barry Plant,” Williams said. “We’re ready to bring a new flavour to Cranbourne and provide the kind of service this community deserves.”
Barry Plant chief executive officer Lisa Pennell stated that Nicola and Angelia’s strategic approach to the new office is already showing signs of success.
“Even before the physical location has opened, a highly successful career night and tactical recruitment has allowed Nicola and Angelia to build a diverse team, enabling them to launch the Barry Plant brand in Cranbourne,” Pennell said.
Set to open in November, the new Barry Plant Cranbourne is preparing to establish a strong presence in the region.
“The Cranbourne area is full of potential, and I’m excited to bring Barry Plant’s reputable brand to the community,” Williams stated.
