The principal of the network’s newest Queensland outpost brings deep roots in Ipswich, positioning the agency to thrive amid the area’s rapid growth.

This new office will be helmed by principal Adam Boettcher who will oversee the team of 16 at McGrath Ipswich alongside sales manager Dane Phillips.

Boettcher brings over 14 years of real estate experience and has lived in the Ipswich area for nearly four decades. The new principal also offers insights from his three years at the helm of his family’s independent Ipswich-based agency, Boettchers Estate Agents.

As a result of Boettcher’s vast local knowledge of the Ipswich area, McGrath stated that the agency, under his leadership, would be well-equipped to service the area from Pine Mountain in the north, to Yamanto in the south, to Barellan Point in the east, and the edge of Leichhardt in the west.

Reflecting on his move to McGrath, Boettcher said he was “excited” to be a part of the network, adding that the decision was “an easy one” due to his personal values strongly aligning with the brand.

Phillips highlighted the resources and support provided by McGrath, noting that the company’s commitment to continuous professional development resonates with his own approach.

Boettcher commented that the office’s launch coincides with Ipswich’s entry into “a new phase of unprecedented growth” which he said will position the area as an “integral component of the Greater Brisbane and South-East Queensland regions”.

He explained that Ipswich has seen growth of “29.8 per cent over the last 12 months”, with the area being increasingly sought after by young families and first home buyers due to the area’s range of amenities and close proximity to the Brisbane CBD.

“We are seeing many buyers come from outside our Ipswich city limits and many are Brisbane-based first home buyers who have been priced out of the market,” Boettcher said.

Head of franchise for McGrath, Chris Mourd, said that the brand sees “enormous growth potential” in Ipswich’s market and shared he was “delighted Adam and Dane have chosen to spearhead the McGrath brand in Ipswich”.
