A longstanding Australian real estate brand has recently embarked on an ambitious growth strategy.
Reporting on the progress made in 2024, Elders has announced that it added 25 new teams to the fold over the course of the year, through additions to the franchise as well as new company-owned offices.
With more hands on deck, the brand was able to post some big numbers for the 12-month period, selling over 12,000 properties at a total value of $8.4 billion, with nearly 80,000 properties under management.
According to Elders’ general manager of brand and residential real estate, Belinda Connor, a number of the new teams and offices that were brought on board over the year served to fill strategic gaps in the firm’s footprint.
“These milestones, which are in line with our strategic objective to expand our real estate business into key locations, emphasise our dedication to growth and innovation, strengthening Elders’ position as a leader in real estate and property services,” she commented.
They included the addition of a five-office group formerly known as Knight Frank Tasmania, as well as Spinks Property Services in the same state.
In Queensland, the brand expanded into Townsville and Gladstone, while welcoming new owners of the Jimboomba office.
NSW was an active state for the brand, with the addition of a respected Tamworth team plus new offices in Alstonville, Wyoming, Gloucester, Dungog, and Wagga Wagga. In the north of the state, Elders Lifestyle Group expanded into Ballina and Wooli, and the team from Andrew McDonald Commercial also came on board, expanding the offering into Dubbo.
In South Australia and Western Australia, Calaby Real Estate and Just Property Management joined Elders to bolster the brand’s offerings in Clare and Bunbury respectively.
Victoria also saw a number of well-known names join the team, namely Charles Stewart & Co, Delaney Livestock and Property, and Mark Flagg Livestock and Property.
Connor paid tribute to the talented teams across these many businesses who weathered the transition to a new brand and continued to drive results.
“We are fortunate to have these new teams on board to help us expand our offering. Attracted to Elders as a leading national network in both residential and rural real estate, these outstanding businesses and their people are a perfect fit for our values and culture,” she said.
