A Sydney agent who sold more than $179 million worth of property in 2015 has joined McGrath.
Norman So, who has worked in the Strathfield area for the past six years, has left Strathfield Partners to join McGrath Concord in Sydney’s inner west.
Mr So said he was attracted to the McGrath brand for its market dominance and its focus on customer service as one of its core values.
“After more than six years operating in the Strathfield area, I recognised that in order to take my business to the next level, I needed to offer my clients a point of difference,” he said.
“McGrath is renowned for its innovative approach to technology and marketing and its extensive buyer database. By joining McGrath, I will be able to further develop my service offering, and as a result, deliver the best possible results for my clients.”
Kon Stathopoulos, McGrath general manager sales NSW, said Mr So is one of Strathfield’s most successful and dynamic real estate professionals.
“Norman shares McGrath’s philosophies of sales excellence and customer service focus and will be a valuable asset to the company,” he said.
Mr So said Strathfield and its surrounds experienced strong growth in 2015, but the final quarter of the year saw the market slow down.
“During the first three quarters of last year, the local market experienced in excess of 30 per cent growth, with the last quarter showing a correction of approximately 10 to 12 per cent,” he said.
“However, I believe the outlook for 2016 is very positive with good buyer inquiry and sentiment a healthy sign for the ongoing strength of the Strathfield market.”
