A unique auction event will see 12 real estate offices from one area come together to sell 25 properties.
More than 100 buyers are expected to attend LJ Hooker’s inaugural event, with properties on Sydney’s Northern Beaches valued from $500,000 to $4 million.
The Northern Beaches Advantage Auction night will be held on Wednesday March 23 and include properties listed by 12 LJ Hooker offices, including Freshwater, Narrabeen, Palm Beach, Dee Why, Avalon, Newport, Collaroy, Manly, Seaforth, Balgowlah, Mona Vale and Frenchs Forrest.
According to LJ Hooker NSW state manager Ben Mitchell, this is the first time that a cohort of offices has come together in the Northern Beaches for such an event.
“The group of offices from Palm Beach right down to Manly are coming together to showcase, in this tight listing market, some of the finest property that the Northern Beaches and NSW have to offer,” he said.
“The network of offices are the market leaders in the area, selling one in five properties on the Northern Beaches,” he added.
The auction night will also offer vendors the chance to win a Flight Centre travel voucher valued at $10,000 as well as $5,000 and $3,000 Westfield gift vouchers.
Buyers and sellers will also have the chance to win $10,000 cash if they get a free LJ Hooker Home Loan health check.
The proceeds of a donated piece of $4,000 Quorra Jewellery, to be auctioned on the evening, will go to the Bear Cottage.
“The Bear Cottage do amazing work for sick children and their families and we feel privileged to be able to help in a small way to raise funds for such a worthy cause,” Mr Mitchell said.
The auction night will take place at Col Crawford BMW in Brookvale.
The event comes at a time when auction clearance rates in the Northern Beaches are at a high of 80.6 per cent, as indicated by APM Property Data.
