The country’s largest real estate group has provided an update on the success of a nationwide auction campaign that began on 10 March.

Ray White's NSW corporate auctioneer team had a 100 per cent clearance rate on Saturday 19 March as part of the group’s Raise More Hands auction campaign.

More than 420 homes went under the hammer last Saturday in a range of on-site, in-room and live online auctions.

According to Ray White, clearance rates for NSW and Victoria over the campaign averaged at 75 and 73 per cent respectively. More than 1,050 auctions were scheduled across the two-week campaign, which began on 10 March.

The group said Raise More Hands has delivered value to the Australian community by putting each property in front of more buyers.

“Our members understand the great potential benefit of each seller to have their property marketed across Australia. The response has been overwhelming,” Ray White joint chairman Brian White AO said.

Ray White NSW CEO Stephen Nell said the franchise group has always seen itself as a competition creator and as such, the auction process is the most transparent way for buyers to purchase property.

Further information on the campaign will be revealed next week, including final auction results.
