Knight Frank has announced the internal appointment of two senior staff to head up its South Australian division.
Guy Bennett, who is currently director of capital markets – SA, and Bobbette Scott, who is currently head of asset management services – SA, will lead the division as joint managing directors for Adelaide.
The pair will commence their new roles this week, following current managing director – SA Peter McVann’s decision to leave the company as of the end of April.
Knight Frank Australia CEO Stephen Ellis said he is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr Bennett and Ms Scott.
“Guy Bennett and Bobbette Scott are well-respected directors within the Knight Frank business,” Mr Ellis said.
“They both bring diverse skills to the Adelaide leadership team – Guy from an institutional sales background and Bobbette from asset management services.
“I am confident that they will lead the South Australian business forward with great success, building on previous wins in line with our national strategy – to be the place for the best property professionals.”
Prior to his new role at Knight Frank, Mr Bennett was responsible for managing some of the most significant commercial sales in Adelaide.
His portfolio includes managing the sale of 45 Pirie Street to CorVal on behalf of Colonial First State for $87 million, as well the SachsenFonds portfolio sale to Lend Lease for $180 million in 2014 – the largest Adelaide office transaction on record at the time.
In February this year, Mr Bennett also sold $150 million between three buildings to Prime Value and on behalf of Prime Value over an eight-week period.
Mr Bennett’s extensive resume also includes working for JP Morgan in London and Sydney, and Charter Hall as its national leasing manager.
Meanwhile, Ms Scott brings to her new position a wealth of experience in leadership roles.
Prior to moving to Australia in 2000, Ms Scott held a senior role in South Africa for a large, listed real estate firm.
After moving to Australia, she worked for Colliers as a commercial property manager before being promoted to state director of property management after just 18 months.
Ms Scott joined CBRE in 2004 and built their asset management business over the next decade before accepting the role of head of asset management service at Knight Frank Adelaide in April 2014.
