Ray White group director Dan White will join 1,300 CEOs out in the cold for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout.
Mr White will be taking part in the St Vincent de Paul Society’s annual CEO Sleepout for the first time on 23 June, raising money for the homeless and disadvantaged, with a personal goal to secure at least $5,000 in donations.
In Australia, 1 in 200 people are homeless, meaning that over 100,000 people are sleeping rough every night across the country – and 60 per cent of these people are under the age of 35.
Dan White is getting behind the Vinnies initiative alongside over 1,000 CEOs across Australia, to raise money to change this disturbingly high number and support Australians affected by homelessness.
In 2015, with the help of generous donations, Vinnies provided almost 500,000 beds to those in need, as well as almost 1.5 million meals, and were able to answer over 1.1 million calls for help.
On 23 June, Mr White and around 1,300 other CEOs will join together for a night out in the cold, aiming to raise thousands of dollars to help those living rough.
To date, over $30 million has been raised through the CEO Sleepouts nationally to fight the homelessness crisis.
