Commercial real estate agency Gunning has appointed an agent to service a Sydney region that it has not had a presence in since the GFC.
Robert Maher steps into the new role and will focus his attention on the Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas.
He has 30 years’ experience in property and finance, having held positions at Century 21, NAB and Bank of Queensland. Mr Maher has also consulted with the NSW government on key national property and finance projects.
Mr Maher said there are many businesses in the Sutherland Shire seeking property, as well as residents looking to downsize.
“I have never seen so many sites ripe for development, especially following the changes to the Local Environmental Plan, particularly with zoning and density,” he said.
“We are planning to change things up a bit and will offer specialist advice on property then and there, when they need it. We have a highly experienced team, which our customers can access and leverage our reputation for achieving outstanding results in the market.”
