Australia’s top real estate professionals were crowned last night at the 2016 REB Awards in Sydney.
In partnership with realestate.com.au, the sell-out event saw approximately 850 attendees gather to recognise the nation’s leading real estate agents, property managers, auctioneers, innovators and market leaders.
Ray White was named the 2016 Major Network of the Year, taking the coveted titled from last year’s winner, LJ Hooker.
Melbourne-based agent Tim Heavyside of The Fletchers Group Doncaster East took home the award for Sales Agent of the Year – Metropolitan, while Harcourts Kingsberry Townsville agent Julie Mahoney was crowned Sales Agent of the Year – Regional.
Kate Lumby of My Auctioneer was named the 2016 Auctioneer of the Year and was also awarded the Real Estate Business Excellence Award for her outstanding achievements and contribution to the profession.
“This year’s winners truly reflect the diversity of this great industry, with awards presented to real estate professionals from across Australia,” Sterling Publishing’s editor-at-large, mortgages and real estate, James Mitchell said.
